This is a letter that I am planning to send to my representatives in Congress. I am writing to you concerning the condition our society is currently in. Far too many people are extremely angry and extremely violent. My spiritual teacher, Eknath Easwaran, wrote extensively about the human condition and how we can find peace for ourselves and our world Jiddu Krishnamurti famously said, "It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society." I believe it is clear that we have a profoundly sick society. I wish to stand with you in seeking viable solutions to bring healing and peace to our society. My own personal belief is that God exists as the Lord of Love enshrined in the heart of every living being. Yet most of us are not taught this glorious truth, or that everything we really need can be found by turning inward and looking within.
